40 YEARS OF KNOWLEDGE
WORKING ON YOUR BEHALF

When we do a home inspection the inspector has guidelines to follow issued by the State Of New Jersey.
They are known as the Standards Of Practice. To view the actual Standards click
HERE

A home inspector will not  dismantle any component part of your future home. As described in the
Standards we will do a Visual and Non Invasive inspection . All issues that we see will be photographed
and written into our  computerized inspection checklist, as well as recommendations for remedies.

Inspection time varies between two and up to six hours or more. Once the on site inspection is
completed we then spend more time in the office compiling the inspection into a written report. The
report is sent to the "paying customer" and any other party that the Client requests, via email, fax or US
mail.

Our reports are not printed on site simply because it takes almost as long to compile it as it did to inspect
it.

At the end of our on site inspection we will go over all the notations made to give the client a synopsis of
what was found.

We are not allowed to give a thumbs up or down on the purchase of a  home nor will we appraise the
dollar value of it.
What is A Home Inspection?
Why Do I Need a Home Inspector?

We are trained to see what you may not see. Inspecting can be a very tiring task. Weather we are tired or
not we follow a procedure that requires us to look at everything. " I never thought of looking there" are
words we hear all the time. We look where you don't.

If you were to have a licensed tradesman check each area of the home that he has the expertise for, it
would cost potentially eight times the amount you pay us .

If we find a problem we will tell you to call a tradesman or engineer and you will have the report to show
them for reference.
                                                What We Do Not Do

We do not have x ray vision and consequently it is not possible to look through walls or ceilings and
under concrete floors or below the ground.  These as well as a few other items are known as Latent
Defects.
